In the first International Cartoon Innovation Fair which is held in Hefei currently, the vice director of National Press and Publications Administration, Mr. Sun Shoushan declared that market share of domestic online games has overpassed 60% for two years. Government has built online game and cartoon workbase in Peking, Shanghai, Guangdong and Sichuan. The radiating and interactive effects among these workbases could further inhance the whole international competitiveness of Chinese Cartoon Industry.

In recent years, correlative national departments carried out Chinese National Online Game Publishing Project. This policy has stimulated a giant producing flow of domestic online games which carry forward Chinese tranditional virtues.

Mr. Sun Shoushan said, generally speaking, cartoons developing Chinese cultures have become the mainstream in China. Chinese cartoon and online game industry has already gained the core force of international competitiveness.
