In a press conference, Giant Interactive Inc. Announced that the massive war theme mmo Giant Online will enter open beta on March 28th.

Shi Yuzhu, Chairman of Giant Interactive, said that Giant Online was an original mmo product that totally different from what''s in the market now. He believed that Giant Online will be the most popular online games in 2008.

Dring the conference, Mr. Shi emphasized many time on attract more female players to the game,''We hope everyone can have a ''wife'' in the game. Maybe not everyone, but we will make the proportion of male players to female will come near to 6:4. Most of the players can set up a ''family'' in the game, or have a  virtua ''wife''.''

Giant Online will launch new version during the open beta. Based on the suggestions collected during the closed beta, the developer has greatly improved the game. In the open beta version, the storyline is more emphasized. Players can travel through time channel, and experience return from future to the history, taking revenge for ancestors and the nation.The features of the classes is more special and the combination is more reasonable. New gameplay is provided as requested by players.
