Ourgame has gained the investment from three VC leading by Intel Investment. Liang Yonglun, CEO of Ourgame told our reporter saying that Ourgame had been seperated from Shanda three months ago, and now looking for IPO as a independent company.

Ourgame is the first enterprise which gained the second round of fund investment from Intel Technology. Liang Yonglun joined Ourgame just on March 18th, as the CEO of the company. At that time, Tang Jun, President of Shanda said the appointment of Liang was the preparation for IPO.

Liang said that Shanda is specialized in MMORPG, while Ourgame is a eSport platform. The two have different user bases and development modes, so different development will provide more opportunities.

In July 2004, Shanda announced a strategical investment into Ourgame. At that time, the purchase strategy was clear: first for the core technology and products, to fulfill the overall layout for online games; second for the increase of user base.
